If your family is thrilled about theater performances, then you definitely don’t want to miss out on this Broadway experience.

The Appleton Farmers Market

Free up your Saturdays from 8AM-12:30 PM to go downtown Appleton on College Avenue and shop from the largest farmers market with over 150 vendors. Whether you are looking to buy bread, cheese, fruits, vegetables, meat or handcrafted items, the Appleton Farmers Market has got everything you need and so much more. Moreover, the live music will lift your spirits as you shop around. The Appleton Farmers Market runs all the way to the end of October. Don’t miss a chance to stock your fridge with some nice fresh goodies.

The Heid Music Summer Concert Series

The Houldini Plaza will be a great place to be whether during lunch time or in the evening. There will be live concerts every Thursday from 11AM-1PM and 5:3-PM-8PM with great performances from the likes of Benjamin Olson, Rob Anthony, Dr. Dobbe, John Lambert among others. Bring your packed lunch, grab some at a local restaurant or buy from the food vendors on-site as you jam away to great music. There will be a few seats available, but feel free to bring a blanket or mat and get yourself comfortable. All these fantastic live concerts will run through until August. Do carry along your ID if you will need to buy any alcoholic drinks. Remember, no alcoholic drinks from outside will be allowed.

Mile of Music 2017

Mile of Music is now in its 5th year and is more than a local affair. It has gotten both regional and national recognition from far and beyond. Over 200 bands and artists will take over 70 venues performing over 900 music sets. On the 29th of July, there will be decorated business windows with different lyrics and songs. After the live performances, make sure to go to Downtown Appleton’s Facebook page and vote for the best performance to get the awarded in The People’s Choice Awards that will be held between 31st July and August 5th. Proceed to register for the Mile 6 Music 2018 and stand a chance to win some goodies.
